Black Palm Kernel Oil is the special ingredient in our INTENSIVE Whipped shea butter (formerly BixiePots Intense). With a based of our signature rich, whipped shea butter soufflé and this potent ingredient. Black Palm Kernel Oil is extracted from within the kernel nut and is very different from the red palm oil used for cooking in West Africa, which is extracted from the pulp of the oil palm fruit. Black Palm Kernel Oil is very dark and has a very 'earthy' smell. It has traditionally been used as a treatment and as an intensive moisturiser on skin, especially skin ailments and scalp.
