HOW ITS MADE
Shea Butter is extracted from the nut of the African Shea tree.
It is also known by many other local names like Karité in Senegal or Ori in some parts of West Africa. It provides extraordinary moisturising properties and is therefore known as “nature's conditioner”. You can read more about the miracle benefits of Shea Butter on the About Page and also here.

Our BixiePots Shea Butter is expertly whipped with the finest Extra Virgin Olive Oil and raw Coconut Oil that both serve as carrier oils which allow your skin to absorb the Shea Butter goodness.

Our fragranced lines are scented with only the finest Organic Essential Oils.

Black Palm Kernel Oil is the special ingredient in our BixiePots Intense (only): Black Palm Kernel Oil is extracted from within the kernel nut and is very different from the red palm oil used for cooking in West Africa, which is extracted from the pulp of the oil palm fruit. Black Palm Kernel Oil is very dark and has a very 'earthy' smell. It has traditionally been used to stimulate hair growth and as an intensive moisturiser on skin, especially skin ailments.

Our specialty BixiePots Intense with its deep, rich aroma, contains a hidden skin treasure: BLACK PALM KERNEL OIL, known for its healing and extensively moisturising quality. Use this on very dry, cracking skin, skin rashes and skin ailments.

Our Whipped Shea Butter contains no preservatives so we strongly recommend clean hands only in your pots . For best results, use the spatulas we include free in your order.

Use generously and massage well into the skin.
Use immediately after a bath or shower, while your skin is still moist.
Don't put your clothes on immediately: Do your make-up, or hair, have breakfast, send an email. Give your skin some time to really absorb the Shea butter goodness.
Use to soothe & prevent dry scalp and as a moisturiser & sealant for hair.
If you're pregnant, your bump (and breasts and hips) will love it. BixiePots is a must to prevent (and even reduce the appearance of) stretch marks. Slather it on several times a day.
